What you are seeing:

C
indicates that flaps have been put in combat position

""'
indicates that the sim is in 1/4 speed

.
indicates that the radiator has been closed

There is no message stating that the guns are out of ammo,
because you should be able to figure that out for yourself (this is realistic eh?)
