Upgrading the pc is absolutely the way to go.. I wouldn't expect people who are making these maps etc to tone down the objects just because there are others with lower end pc's..
For the first time, my pc is getting some little stutters with the new maps.. It was a clear indicator to me that I need to think about upgrading myself.
