I have to say that I'd be totally fine with, and would love to see a program that would allow servers to control who flies.
I'd go farther, it would be neat if such an app could be configured to install required mods for you. You log in to a server, and it DLs the map mod you need, or at least points you at it when it boots you.
My personal interest is in fixing stuff that has perennially been broken with PF. That means maps, and niggling little details (as it turns out many of the things I asked for in this regard are literally trivial to fix if you have the right files (getting at the stuff with no clue is rather harder than someone who already knows what to look for)).
At some point I could see AAA "blessing" a few super mods that would be a new acceptable online environment. No FM changes at all might be one, and limited, but vetted changes for another (I could see fixing many loadouts on planes solely by DELETING some, for example).
Anyway, if someone has the skill to do this, it'd be a great thing.
