Hey guys... I'm playing around with an experiment - a small training map for cadets to learn and practice carrier landings... but on a standard airfield - with a difficult approach/climb out, and short runway...

Obviously, one of the key's of a decent carrier landing is catching a wire... I was wondering, if somone could tell me how to extrapulate the cables from a carrier and put them on a runway, or somehow be able to use that part of a carrier... is there a way? Or could someone have a look at this? I know its a weird one, but it would be very VERY much appreciated.

Not that weird. I made a mission like that for our Graf Zeppelin campaign based on the training videos from PF. I used the recon targets to determine if it was a save landing or not
