First of all I want to say, that there is no intention to create a monster plane. We want to create a FW-190, that has a historical peformance. I want to fly a simulation and not an arcarde game.
HISTORICAL PERFORMANCE IN RELATION TO OLEGS SPEED PERFORMANCE FW-190A-3 and FW-190A-4 with BMW 801 D double radial engine.
Yesterday Strafe showed us a link with historical performance data. There are test flights with captured FW-190 and german tests. You also can find german guids with operatingworth and engine basic data.
I have found a picture where all confirmed level speed performances are included. I have checked them with the original documents and they are right. I printed them out and I also printed out the Oleg level speed performance for the A-4.
Now I drew the performance curves of Oleg into the document.
The speed of the oleg-190 at see level is 100% ok.
kampfleistung (24oo rpm) 520 km/h at 0m
Notleistung (27oo rpm) 540km/h at 0m
But the rest of the pervormance is not to understand.
The whole oleg a4 kampfleistung (24oo rpm) is to be regained in a range where you also can find the flight test with a captured and overcamouflaged 190 that could not show its full performance. But the performance of this captured plane is faster in regions over 13ooo feet (ca 4km).
The oleg a4 notleistung (27oo rpm) is a little bit faster than the kampfleistung of the historical Focke Wulf in a region below 9.ooo feet (ca. 27oo m). Over 9ooo feet the oleg a4 notleistung has the same speed performance of the historical kampfleistung.
The historical kampfleistung has a little bit more speed below 9ooo feet. Over 9ooo feet you are ca 10 m.p.h. faster than olegs notleistung. BUT!
With historical notleistung you will reach 410 m.p.h. in 21ooo feet! 660 km/h in 6400 m.
When I am at home i will start to create a Level Speed performance curve in a highly solubly graph. Whn this graph is ready, i will post it here.
