3 easy steps to get stationary aircraft on the airfields
1. Set them a waypoint as normfly at a speed such as 333 or 222 and alt such as 333 or 6666 at the point you want them to be in, placing the next waypoint in the direction you want them to face.
2. Goto the IL-2 directory containing your mission.mis file and edit the ini file, you'll find it has the alt and speed you specified written like this:
example: Speed is 333 and altitude is 6666 (speed marked in yellow, altitude in green)
[131Squadron03_Way]
TAKEOFF 13550.84 48726.11 0 0 &0
NORMFLY 20640.05 50037.62 6666.00 333.00 &0
LANDING 45875.69 46258.10 0 0 &0
now, all you need to do is make it look like this:
NORMFLY 13550.84 48726.11 0 0 &0
NORMFLY 20640.05 50037.62 0 0 &0
LANDING 45875.69 46258.10 0 0 &0
And the plane will spawn as stationary bellylanded aircraft on the ground, lower it's gear for some strange reason and sit there with all crew on board and all props bashed.
Step 3: if you need to add more to the mission you'll have to redo these steps for each flight/aircraft you've got on the ground, as FMB will correct them to being 500 m in the air at 0 kmh, or at the very least you risk it does it...
These planes should stay on the ground for as long as it will take them to reach their landing waypoint which with 4 destroyed engines would be quite hard...
I don't know if this works for the high wing B-24, but it works for the B-17 and similar aircraft.
Hope you found this useful!
