If you have fly-zo gui winter( which I recommend), just open it in mods go to splash screen and open TGA. file with(I use photo shop, then open a picture you want to take its place cut/copy and paste over original. For background in your root folder(IL2 sturmovich1946) click on missions and in there you will see a TGA. along with, Net/Campaign, etc..... do the same open with photo editing program and open what ever pic you want for your background, copy/cut and paste and save. it is now what you want to see.
