BTW, the thread name is in English, so I assume he could...

Anyhow, the IL-2 game engine doesn't actually support guided missiles, however, I did have the Idea of making the missile an "aircraft" that would be attached like the German Mistel, the Japanese suicide bomber, the He-111Z and Me-324, and etc. I'm gona use the F-16 as an example;

The F-16 is carrying two "aircraft" which look like, and have the flight dynamics of missiles, and are identical in every way to a missile. When the "missiles" are released, they can control themselves, and their' AI tells them to go to what ever airplane they have a "lock" on.

A "lock" would be script that runs while the F-16 is in flight with the missile attached. The script could tell it to target whatever is "highest priority"(Whatever has the largest IR signiture) within a 15* or so of directly in front of it, and it would carry a short delay before the missile "locks", this MIGHT be able to somehow interact with a script that gives you a "tracking" and "lock" message. When you hear the growler, it could be the missile saying something over the radio, with the sound file being the tracking tone, or the lock tone.

Sorry if it's a bit confusing, esp. if English isn't your native language :lol: ... But in short, I.M.O. it COULD work by tricking the game into thinking the missile is an airplane that's attached like the Mistel.

First, though, we'd have to crack the AI code... Oh, and I don't know scripting language either, just a basic understanding of how it works...
