Either install the soundmod and wrapper or the UI 1.1. I recommend the UI 1.1. This will give you a large number of maps, mods, effects and new flyable aircraft all in one simple install.
You will want to have a good fast internet connection for this last option- it's a bunch of big files, and you'll need all them for it to work.
