I could since I worked as a soung engineer. I downloaded the files and didn't try em in the game since I thought we would hear shrapnel at every flak explosion. Am I right? If there's a way to hear the shrapnel only when the explosions are close to us I gonna work on it if you want me to. And if I have to work on it, is it possible to have the sounds separated so I can work on the tracks independently? Otherwise I would have to work from scratch. And to have a good sound adjustment, do you know if the game use a normalized track? (with the highest sound peak to 0db) That's a question I could answer myself by looking at it in Nuendo, but if you had the answer already it could help me if I have to start over.
edit: I forgot to add that I like the explosion sound, but the shrapnel sound needs to be worked on. A simple pitch edit could make it sound much better. That being said, great idea and nice samples. I don't know if you made them yourself but if you did, you did some good work there.
And I thought about it, even if there's no way to hear the shrapnel only when the explosions occurs right beside our plane, if we would use 1 sample with it, and the other without it, it could simulate the randomization of the shrapnel. Like I said, I'm talking without even trying it in-game. I just listened to it in winamp, so I don't really know if this issue happens in-game. I'll have to try it tonight.
