I wish i could help. but im slowly starting to get together bits and pices about how to do such stuff.
And as i am looking for a new aparment too i have my mind quite a different place im sorry to say.
and my deep exploration 5 has ended trial time and as a disabled i have no money to buy it.grrrrr

But i have some ideas that arent that way to out in space i think!lol
When making the towers, then do like someone else has done and make a part of it under ground, that way if placed on a uneven surface you wont be able to see under it.
But dont do the mistake they have done by not adding texture to the under earth level..

That will mess up the shadow.
