edited. After some initial confusion we've found weights and measures were understated and engine performance figures were out. Overall this didn't affect maximum level speed capabilities by altitude (if anything a little too fast at sea level) but it did have a dramatic effect on mid range performance and the overall 'feel' of the Ta152C.
Our purpose is to get the historical feel of this excellent Luftwaffe bird as close to the authentic documentation and pilot reports as humanly possible. We are not trying to make a hotrod.
And of course with this mod all AAA site protocols will be strictly observed.
I do however wish to add a second variant, the Ta152C-3 armed with an Mk103M motorkanone. It will otherwise use the same FM. What I have in mind is that this would be the "what if" version and have a similarly stylised WM to the Me410D AAA mod for 1946 campaigning (ie. enhanced late war loadout options based in accordance with genuine planning and near production reality). I'm also considering adding a fuselage drop tank (300l) option on an ETC503 centreline rack for the C-1 (historically planned) and wing tank options for the C-3 for additional range (substituting Fw190G in the long range jabo role).
RLM planning was for this a/c to replace all Fw190A and D types in service use, as well as the zerst
