To which I said that Stukas used special tungsten core ammo, not regular AP shells, for AT work exclusively.

For softer, less valuable targets such as these landing crafts ordinary APHE or HE shells were used instead as the tungsten shells would be a waste as they are/were quite expensive (tungsten being a rare metal)
