He's right though. The late 109s should have small bulges on the nose just aft of the spinner. I've never noticed it in the game, as I dont fly the 109 much, but if he says they're not there and he's looking for them, then they're probably not.

Although thats obviously a model, if you look forward of the oil cooler and follow the shadow, you will see where it bulges along the underside of the nose, just in line with the end of the first exhaust.

That shows the position better as the oval shaped area in the same position, underside of the nose, under the first exhaust. I wont uplod it here though, as its rather large, so just click on the link.
It's a pretty difficult area to make out in most photos because wartime photos are generally unclear, and that area of the nose is generally in shadow, making it difficult to clearly determine, but walter is right, it should be there if its not. (The 'k' series does have it too btw walter)
