No what I actually did was , in an experiment swap all the classfiles of the J7W1 with the Ar-196 to see if it worked, and bingo! Flew like a dream, but I obviously couldn't land on water. 
And also I need or may not need to know how to edit FM's in future mods, other than that I'll get an expert to do it (Most probable) And just learn(Or not) how to create new slots.
