No Joy In Joysticks
#1

Well ive come to the realization that there is no joy in joysticks after all these years of flight simming.
my first was a sidewinder wich i promptly gave away due to the return to center tension being to strong for my taste.
My next venture was the MSFFB 2 wich was great as long as didn't plug in the powersupply if you did occasionally it would have fits an try an shake itself off the desk, i used this stick for many years with no power supply in order to dissable the return to center an feed back.
With this arrangement the stick took a bit of getting use to at first but became natrual like an extension of your hand an once you had the in game settings dialed in you could fly with a very light hand.
Now this brings me to my latest a x52 pro wich has been a luv and hate, being able to create , switch between profiles and have a multitude of buttons to program and a light return to center is the luv.
The hate is even after dialing in the in game settings it still takes a fair amount of stick deflection before any noticable aircraft response an then its exponential no more slight stick pressure im flying more heavy handed than i ever did an i hate it.
Is there any way to increase the sticks responsiveness to its deflection at or near center without increasing the return spring tension or better yet by removing the return spring all together ?
As i seem to have 3/4 " of movement in all directions before a reply with the deadzones set to 0 in x52 controler software.

regards
