im only using 4.08, would that make a difference???

dude.....um, yes...that makes a big difference hock:
if you're using 4.08, then you're not using the mods, and you won't have tha static.ini, which is only available if you are using mods - which use 4.09b1m....
thought you knew that..... :-?
