Yeah i changed it but still nothing

OK, the only other thing I can think of then is where have you got the game installed, if it is C:\Program Files\...... etc then I'd advise to move it out of there to say C:\Games\....etc, Vista does some wierd shit with permissions etc in the Program Files folder.

PS check your conf.ini again to make sure your changes did "take".
