I was just rwading the article and decided to post it here, but you beat me to it. Looks like a lot of work has been done on that patch. Brand new flying Avia B.534, SM.79 Sparviero plus some more I-16s and more AI planes (possibly as flyable in the future) - that's excellent news! 
Well, I can only dream a Bulgarian plane will make it's way in game too... :?
PS.A workin RADAR in Il-2?!
hock: I only hope that it would be usable with "NoHUD=1" setting. Bombsights, for example, are a pain in the rear to use without HUD messages.
