Thank you everyone!!!!!!!!!!!That was indeed the trick!! 
And I know where I went wrong. I enabled arcade mode in Il2Stab. A bit thoughtless clicking through the options.
1 Question remains: who in the world wants to play like that?
I mean it looks bizar;your plane speared with arrows... :? Or is it for evaluation purposes so you can see where excactly you were hit and where it came from etc?
Anyway:you guys made my flying life worthwile again! I was going insane and tried driver rollbacks and updates ..you name it.
