For sure, everyone knows about the japanese anime "Porco Rosso". A cool scenario (Adriatic Sea), cool 1920 - 1930 seaplanes, great dogfights...

Recreating this for IL-2, for sure can give some Copyright-related problems...

The idea is to make something similar, but avoiding those problems.

The Aegean and Joniean Sea, (Greece) offers a wonderful scenario, with lot of islands and reefes..

To bring this project to life, we need the collaboration of a Map-maker, and one or more (better more) 3d Modellers.

The Map we have in mind will need to have Greece, Crete, the West coast of Turkey and going down to comprise the coasts of Lybia and Egypt.

We are looking to have some seaplanes of the correct time period, if possible:

Savoia S.12 (1920) - modified as a fighter
Macchi M.7 (1921) - modified as a fighter
Savoia S.51 (1922) - modified as a fighter
Curtiss R3C-2 Racer (1925) - Modified as a fighter
Macchi M.33 (1925) - Modified as a fighter
Macchi MC.52 (1927) - modified as a fighter
Macchi MC.72 (1931) - modified as a fighter
Supermarine S.5 (1927) - modified as a Fighter
Supermarine S.6B (1929) - Modified as a Fighter
Cant Z.501 gabbiano (1934)

We are also looking for seaplane versions (fictional) of the I-153 and I-153P, the Fiat Cr.42 and the Gloster Gladiator.
