Won't the rubber-bands bond with the plastic like the tape?

Edit: I suppose I can place a strip of paper in between the band and plastic part. Thanks for the tips Wurzel!

It is better, to place two strips of wood (example fresh toothpick (Zahnstocher) between the band and plastic part. Carefully with the glue.
