WIP sound mod, bombing whistle.
#10

thank you all .

I've been chipping away at most of the sounds as soon as i figured out how to mod them.

I plan on eventually releasing a larger sound pack that will include most of what i released so far, as well as some updates on them.

That is an interesting concept, and being able to link sounds to airspeed is a much needed command in the PRS language.
Instead its linked to actual speed and time from release. Th game also has a simulated delay from when the sound begins.
So in other words, optimizing it to sound a certain way in one frame, doesn't mean in will sound exactly as it should in another situation.

I'm still working on this though, and i think i may end up optimizing for common bombing altitudes. Anything is better than the default, i'm not sure what you guys were hearing before.

I actually recorded a tea pot, and used a pitch bend to get this effect.

If it seems loud its because it is, as i usually have the sound i'm focusing on turned up so it can be deciphered a bit better. You can always turn it down in the PRS under the [SPL]. The final version will have a more complete PRS with better leveling and include the additional samples for the other bomb types.
