Thanks, Saburo Sakai, but i've already read through most of the posts there which sounded promising - no luck. If there's a particular topic you had in mind, i'd love a link to it. Or (and this is grasping), if i could get in touch with "Tim", who wrote the SFS extractor, I'm sure he must know the file structure well (though he may not be willing to share the hard-won info with some guy he doesn't know).
