He is in winter dress, The same uniform was worn by the USAF,
(besides the life jacket that is Navy issued).

I'm still on the road...As soon as I'll be back to base, (in a couple of weeks),
I'll finish the Korean war project...

Sorry Elephant, but that's not a winter suit. It's an anti-exposure suit or what the USAF pilots call a "Poopy suit". That is an early version.
