agracier Wrote:I have both the old AAA version of Il-2 with QMB Pro installed, but lately I've been flying more and more in my install of Il-2 with UltraPack 1.8.
The thing is, with Ultrapack, if I install QMBPlus, the game ctd at 60%, so i just leave it out.
Now my question is - with the AAA, I put QMB missions in the QMB/missions/quick folder, but I do not know where to put these QMB missions in my UP install. I've looked for obvious folders, but haven't found any.
Any suggestions on where to put them? I feel silly for asking, but QMB missions have always been a source of mystery to me, I mean how to create them and where to put them and such ...
I am sorry, but I have not yet UP 1.8 installed, only v1.7. and not using it for a long time. My install is as it follows from readme.txt file:
"
Missions were tested on IL2 Sturmovik 1946 v. 4.09 with SAS Mod activator v.2.2 :
http://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,1008.0.html
and SAS QMB Pro v.2.0 :
http://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,34.0.html .
FatCat's QMB+, QMBPlus or QMBMinus may be used , too."
I shall see, what is the proper way of adding QMB+ into UP and eventually let to know later. Sorry for inconvenience, so far.
EDIT:
As for HFSX v4.0, I succesfully installed QMBMinus into ...Il2 Sturmovik 1946/Mods/ folder, and the *.mis files into ...Il2 Sturmovik 1946/Missions/Quick/ folder, and game runs well. Again, the preceding installation of SAS mod activator over HFSXv4.0 install is necessary .This will create the /Mods folder and /Quick folder. I suppose, the situation is similar with HaDeS UP1.8. Visit his pages for more info.
Laziness is the mother of progress. My QMB missions can be found here:
