Two stages in the waves breaking. The green in the centre is actually 'land'.





My tile is simply a copy of shallow water on the Midway map. Some of Ziggy's coral tiles might work equally well - or better. The trick is not to have too much 'land' showing through, so careful drawing on map_c is necessary. Whatever is used has to be from an underwater picture though, as dry land sticks out like a sore thumb.
