By the way it would be nice to have new fmb map from Agracier for Iwo and Palau, the new ones for Kyushu and Okinawa are so nice !

Here's the download link for the new ed_m files. Also included a new texts.txt file with less psychedelic colored place names. Also noticed that the new updated map for Palau includes newly added ocean areas, which I don't know how to make for the ed-M maps.

So there is a newly edited load.ini as well which deletes the extra thousands of square miles of Pacific Ocean. Maybe someone will know how to fix it so that the new additions are also colored. But for now, this new ed_m map serves the older, original Palau map ...

Before installing don't forget to backup your old files. And this map could use a nice repaint for the textures too ... it's been so long I ever flew here that i forgot that as maps go, it's quite nice.

For Iwo I'll have to think a bit. It's so small in land area that all it needs really is a nice blue color for the ocean and some flags and a snappy title. Maybe a still from 'Sands of Iwo Jima' or a portrait of John Wayne?
