I know that this is getting to be a lot of things to consider, but please bear with me.
The 6 GB of RAM is fairly large, but even this can get full. You really need to study my help topic in the PC Tech Help Forum. I do not intend to SPAM it everywhere but this is likely a PC Tech management issue, though there could be one or two IL-2 Tech issues besides this.
PC Tech Help Forum-Sticky: " PC Technical Relationship to IL-2: This info helps everyone " topic.
I read about a guy one time who got drastic and downloaded an entire second Operating System besides his original one. He was using two operating systems in his computer. The second one was for only IL-2 and that OS was installed in a new disk partition apart from the other one. All his problems disappeared! You might be able to make an authorized copy of your OS into a new partition designated by you and install IL-2 there, out Program Files. Keep in mind that this is basically a last resort. Another less drastic possibility is to install IL-2 into an external hard drive. Some guys have done this and IL-2 runs just fine.
Also, a driver that is good for other games might not be good for IL-2. I have not figured how to resolve this easily.
Please for the benefit of the readers, let us know when you fix this how you did it, okay?
