I don't think I've ever seen crosshairs on guncam footage, but I have seen silhouette shapes on the edges of the frame that indicate a gunsight. This is not possible directly in the Il-2 engine, but it's up to you whether or not to include the standard crosshair.

Footage is also played at roughly 1/2 speed in most situations.
I noticed you have problems with fraps causing stutters, and I have the same problem. I suggest that you record at 1/4 speed, but then double that in your movie maker. That will eliminate all stutters.
Don't worry about the music. You can't make everyone happy, and those that aren't should just turn off the sound!
