Hello to all & before I continue with my new post I would like to take the opportunity to use it to present myself to all as a new member.
I just discovered a couple weeks ago that IL2 had a hole new world of mods behind the game it's self and since I bought it I have not stopped going threw the threads of this great web site, but there is something that I didn't see (forgive me if it already exists & I missed it), is there a damage mod including hydraulic failures that would affect landing gear, flaps, etc?
I am a BIG B-17 fan and it was pretty common for these birds to get back to base & due to inflicted damage they would not be able to put the gear down, or only one side would, therefor have to belly land.
I have flown several B-17 missions catching a lot of flak & fighter damage (loss of a rear stabilizer, one engine INOP, fuel leaks, wounded gunners, etc) but it would be pretty awesome & challenging to make it back to base & have to belly land without crashing.
If it doesn't exist, what do you guys think of the idea? would it be possible to create this kind of failures due to damage?
Cheers.
