The bomb was mainly intended to be used against ships. Since it's hard to aim with this bomb (got it RadPig94 :wink: ), the bomb was intended to be dropped in a steep dive. Minimum release altitude is reported to be 4.000ft. The rocket propellant ignited about 3-4s after release and burnt for about 3s.
The bomb carried about 10% explosives material only, but caused severe damage to heavily armoured targets (->ships) of reasonable size due to it's high impact energy caused by the extremely high impact speed.
