Let's try this....

You don't have to uninstall anything...

Run the HSFX 4.0 Part 1 installer
Run the HSFX 4.0 Part 2 installer
Run the HSFX 4.1 installer
Run the HSFX 4.11 Hotfix

See if that fixes your problem.
Are you getting the error in the DCG, DGEN or from the 'Canned' campaign?
