There is no problem with my Steam, I'm not sure how so many of you guys have had so many problems...just a problem trying to teach old dogs new tricks i guess....I've had Steam for years and own 40+ games through it...I'm a fan of Valve and have never had any real complaint with any of their games or software
Anyways...back to the topic...Yes I have played with it alot and I do have some answers....The setting is in meters...not as I originaly thought, kilometers, as in IL-2. I was looking at the convergence distance ingame with the F2 view to confirm this.
100 meters is the lowest distance that can be set in the 109-e3 on my pc...which is just fine for me...I have since then set the horizontal and vertical setting to 200m....there may be something to the new vertical convergence setting that can help ppl dial in there shots...but for now I just set it the same as the horizontal setting. For my shot style I like this distance because it is only still the width of my guns past the convergence point on the spread side at 400m, making anytime from 300 down to 100 meters to target, a good time to shoot.
I also change my ammo settings...this, like convergence, is a very personal setting....Unless your just stupid about it...there is no wrong answer. I have set mine up for my two MGs to feed AP(armor piercing),HE(high explosive),AP,HE,tracer..And my cannons to be the same rotation, but Incernerating AP and HE, then a tracer.(
