would it be relatively easy for a noob like myself to have a crack at making an F4U-4 and -5?

would it be just a matter of stretching the nose a bit and adding a seperate air intake.

i'm willing to give it a crack if someone wants to help out.

To do the F4U-4 and F4U-4B properly, it would take a bit more than just a modification of the 3D model. The F4U-4's performance was quite a bit better than that of the F4U-1D, so a new flight model would be necessary. A new cockpit interior would also be needed as the F4U-4 had a completely redesigned cockpit.

Most think the 5th will have secured Kimpo Airfield by tonight, while the 1st is moving towards the outskirts of Yongdungpo, the suburb of Seoul on the south bank of the Han River. General Almond has promised MacArthur that he would liberate the capital by 25 September, so we are all feeling the pressure.

As Almond's X Corps began driving east, Walker's Eighth Army launched its long awaited breakout in the driving rain. ROK units have been advancing up the east coast from Pusan, meeting negligible resistance. Everywhere, the North Koreans are breaking in flight, surrendering in hundreds, or taking to the mountains to maintain guerrilla war.

Bing Ding's METOC Chief says the weather over the next four days will severely hamper the Air Force's ability to support the UN advance from southeastern South Korea. So the aircraft of Task Force 77 have their work cut out for them.

the first mission worked ok but the second starts with my F4U floating in the water hock:

i'm guessing i was missing a ship?

OK if I remember COrrectly there is a Download Link for Shippack Two thas near the end of the Thread. Someone Provided one of their copies for download.

Hello Dixiecapt, got a problem, wonder if you could help. I've downloaded the campaign and installed everthing needed to run it but the panther is giving me problems, basically if I press the I button to start the engine I get this message:

Engine: Off



Everthing else works ok, deploy tail hook, no problem.



deploy wing fold, again ok.




If I exit the mission and apply for mission two it loads fine and the Corsair starts.
Carrier mod works ok.



If I set the Panther on another map, in this case Magellan, aircraft starts no problem!



Have I missed something? Any idea what may be wrong?

Yeah, the same happens to me. There is something bad in those .inis... No matter if I add lines or use those from the download....

Whatever I try, the game crashes at 70%.... When I use the backup files, the game loads smoothly....

I will better leave it alone.
