Yes, this is 100% true. To clarify in detail:

Viikate is the author of Fokker D.XXI and its cockpit
Maraz and his team + Caspar are the authors of SM.79 and its cockpit
Bf-110 nightfighter model author is Viikate, original programmer of the radar is LesniHu

All of them are Daidalos Team members. Full credits to each model will be in final 4.09 Readme

If you are referring to some old WIP models of the above listed planes, they have been leaked out during their implementation for 4.09 in spring 2009 and as far as I know integrated in several mod addon packs without the permission of their individual owners/authors.

It is sad that some people do not respect the work of others and release it unfinished and without their agreement. This the least they could do.

So that is the reason why Mr. Viikate disappear. And it is great to see that Oleg likes us too. God knows, how i been waiting for that Fokker!!!

This is another good reason to have installed the UI. All you need to do is remove your MODS folder and you already have a clean install 0f 4.08. Then you apply the new 4.09 patch. Then you put the MODS folder back and all should be well.

That sounds a bit too optimistic to me ... surely there should be more details to attend to, even if only the all.ini file for the maps ... not that this should be a big deal in any way, but it

Official add on + mods isn't so simple.

At least a new MOD Activator (modded files.sfs for new game version) and AC Installer (with the data for all the new planes in the add-on) are needed for the new 4.09 add on to get the mods working. Also the files in MODS/STD folder have to be updated.

Then someone should make some temporary cockpits for all new AI planes to make then flyable. Also a new version of AAA UI for 4.09 would be useful, or maybe 4.09 will be released earlier than UI 1.2.

Most italian planes build already many times ago..... Part of them was included in 4.04 or 4.03, but some of them wasn't ready in this time... And now they a coming. Very want Fiat G55.

yay! I hope the brains at AAA make the mods compatible with it though. I think it would be a shame to lose all the work by the community or to have to work with dual installations.
