If he really went "bye bye", is there a possibility that someone else would countinue his work?
Lets hope hes ok guys ??
Certificate - you ok fella ???
Lo Not being horrible but hes either just not bothered and left for a long time. Or hes having internet/computer problems I'd imagine.
Does anybody know of any documentation on the AI code file format? I'm wondering if Certificate had a starting point in his work, or did he go at it from scratch.
I'm interested in contributing to this mod .. PM'ed cert a while back, hopefully he'll come back sooner or later, this mod is awesome.
After using this mod for a while now I must say that this and the 6DoF mod are in my top 10.
Right, though it brings some long lost annoyances back. Been encountering numerous and versatile defensive maneuvbers but somehow sorts of UFO evasive actions are back now.
That's not too much of an issue as nobody is forced to stick at the enemies six for long. Still, violent vertical zig-zagging can't have worked out that well then. I think real A/cs respond slower to rapid elevator reversals than these artificial targets. :?
Would be a blessing if someone could do some fine-tuning with this otherwise great mod.
Greets,
Pongie
Can someone upload v1.4 and 1.6 to mediashare?
Great mod. Offline is now much more enjoyable and more realistic!
The only constructive criticism I would offer is that maybe the A.I.'s negetive G manouvers should be cut down a bit. In real life pilots can handle positive G's much better than negative G's and for much longer periods of time. Truth is that negative G's are just down right painfull and intolerable for any periods longer than a few short seconds. Yet the A.I. now throws the stick forwards with abandon.
Only a minor triffle though, Over all top notch! Well done Cert where ever you are!
How about a quick vote on which was the best update. For me 16 I think.
I still use 1.6.
Awesome mod!
I read on the french comunity site, that it should be possible to have a workaround the fact that we could use clouds. As a not see through for AI, since the clouds are only decorative in the sim it is not so easy, but they have a figure that indicates the hight and position, so one could give an other time of attack for AI if (cloud is near). Well I don't know if I made myself clear, and if it is of any good. But they seem to have an able body who is working with java on theses things. Well, I think it woun't do any good speculating or giving out any links. But hope for future changes.
