Ok.. Why is this stupid. It makes sense to me. (therefore I'm stupid right!).. sigh.
No, I think he said that it was stupid for someone to say it will give you a mega advantage (which is basically what you were saying).
I didn't read it that way.. See, I am stupid!
100 posts in the poll (54% in favour), ample photographic evidence - why is this still going round and round in circles?
Oh that's right...cry-baby red pilots giving the rest of us a bad name - my bad
P.S. I fly predominantly red in a red squad...It was historical, let's have it.
The community has said it time and time again: we have thepoll results in favour of the mirror. Not only that but we have HISTORICAL PROOF to show that the early 109's did actually have a mirror! So where are we going with this? Or are our modders still too red oriented to bother with blue?
Comments about Bf 109E
Bf 109E-1:
After the test of prototypes Bf 109V13 and V14, E-1 was brought into production in summer 1938. The outlines of nose section changed drastically from Jumo powered Bf 109B, C and D version. The major difference was that radiator in early versions was installed under nose but in E version two separated radiators were equipped on under surface of the wings.
Bf 109E-2:
Bf 109E-1 fought in the Spanish Civil War with an armament of four 7.92mm MG17 guns, but the firepower was clearly inadequate against heavily armored aircraft such as Russian built I-16. So the improvement of E-1
As an avid virtual 109 pilot, I personally would not use the mirror. I am so used to flying without it, I probobly wouldnt even realize it was there.
Good for you.I would still like someone to make me one! Jolly? If you make one I promise to shut up about it
i am doing the mirror for E4, E4/B, E7B & E7Z
