Hey Waggel,

I just wanted to say I hope you are successful in your A2/A3 model FW. Much needed.
I also wanted to say I am supportive of your tenacity in doing research and being historic. I personally don't think dropping a B25 cockpit into a B17 skin makes it a B17 - no offence to the modders, they are far more talented than I, but as an old fogue compared to most of you here, I yearn for historical basis in the sim.
I don't really have any skills to offer to assist you, only support.

This seems to be something lacking in the existing damage model of the Fw-190.

this kind DM doen't exist in il2, it's not modelled, and except those 4 guncams, are there others that could collaborate this?
Even, the 190 looses it's wing rather easely, or it's speed drops by 100kmh with a 7.92mm bullet hole, so it's out of combat anyway.

Otherwise i have a nice guncam of a 190 destroying in pieces a LA5 with it's mg131, a mg151 making a 1m hole in a spitfire wing, a p 51 with it's leaking radiator(no radiator DM either in il2)...etc...etc...

I don't think it's appropriate to try to show stuff that can't be realized in il2.

For that kind of stuff, we have to wait for SoW...if it ever sees the light :roll:

I sold the MOD for the 190 slots (New slots for A2 and A3), but i haven't time and when i came to AAA back, it was deleted. I don't remember who done that great feature.
