However, the custom textures supplied by Mixx were not included because
they changed too many other things on other maps.
The good news is that Boomer at UP made the textures switchable
through JSGME.
Switched on the map appears as Mixx intended.

This add-on maybe useful for Ultrapack 2.0 but for other modpacks or manual installs it's not of any use.
For those who installed it manually (like me) it should be the other way round as we already see the retextured objects on his map and on several other maps(unintended). So this little add-on should eliminate Mixx' retextured objects when enabled.
But to make sure if I was right I tested it and indeed it doesn't work. Enabled or disabled we still see his retextured objects.
But...
when I'm typing this I realized something else...
Now I downloaded this little add-on I know which objects Mixx retextured. In my MODS folder there are a lot of other objects so it was hard to figure out which were Mixx' ones and other ones. But now it is just a matter of comparing the ones already installed and the ones included in this Ultrapack add-on. When it corresponds I need to disable the ones in my MODS folder by "-" (minus) in front of it. If this theory is correct I will see the Arctic map without his retextured stuff.
When I enable this little add-on through JSGME I should see the map as intended.
I think that's the way it should be done for those who installed it manually. So no adding extra lines in the static.ini and renaming his object folders as mentioned before.
I have to admit it's just a theory as I haven't tried it out yet. But my own theory sounds logical to me.
EDIT:
I tried it out as I described above and it works!
Comparing the folders and disabling them by putting a "-"(minus) in front of it took less then 5 minutes and here is the result:
