Big Grin

Unfortunately maps are just too damned complex inside MM to allow user defined additions. I would certainly like to be able to provide a method for this, but I just can't see an suitable way to do it. Sad

Thanks Crazy

I was just getting around to pondering how to get MM working with HSFX.
This updates come just at the right time.

I know I'm dense...but even with this brand new edition I can't seem to figure out a way to quickly & easily change the group of Ju-87G missions to use the Hs-129 instead.I have a floder alreay for the modded missions but cannot seem to see a way...what am i missing? Sad

Thanks for all your hard work on this. I saw this and want to get into mission building and my squad is a Pacific carrier operational. Our Carrier is San Jancinto that is in the Shippack. I guess I saw you do not have the ships in the shippack. Is there a way to add those ships from the shippack to your naval propertise?

I guess I can add generic then change them myself in the mission builder of game. I did like the feature of making a fleet one time.

Thanks Crazy

This is quite easy to do, but the important thing to realise with the Hs-129 is that by default it is seen as non flyable by Mission Mate, so it needs to be set to a flyable aircraft before you will be able to substitute it for the Ju-87 inside the editor.

The first to do is to go to "Mod Tools" menu and then select "Set AI Flyables". When the new window appears, select the Hs-129 from the list on the left and click the "Add" button. Finally click the "Apply" button and close the window.
This means that from this point forward the Hs-129 will been seen as flyable by Mission Mate. The next time you start Mission Mate you will be able to edit the mission and change Ju-87 for the Hs-129.

Let me know if you need more info.

You know, I've not put a lot of thought into the naval portion of MM for quite some time, but I can't see why there can't be some more ships added for the next update. I will need to take a look and see just what is involved and hopefully will have some new additions for the next release.

Crazy - you are the MAN...I will DEFINATELY do as you suggest...many thanks!
OMG!!!!!!!!! This was sooooooooooooooooooo simple!I have been waiting a year ( since the Hs-129 became a flyable...) and finally a simple way to do it!
I also added a few more aircraft to the flyable group...which means I can change some changes to Navy missions & fly say the TBF,instead of the SBD...GREAT!

Dietz, glad it's working out!! Just one thing to remember also though, the none flyable aircraft that you make flyable inside Mission Mate also need to have a cockpit mod installed with IL-2 to work, otherwise you will get a "no cockpit" error mesage when you attempt to run the mission.

I'm sorry I didn't address this earlier for you, I seem to remember this popping up in an earlier posting.

Just a quick note to let you know that I have started the work on adding ships from the ship pack. It is not difficult and shouldn't take long. This will definitely be in the next release, although perhaps not every new item in the ship pack, but most I hope.

Hi guys,

Just a small release for MM that facilitates the ship pack mod into the MM naval properties interface.

While not all of the ship pack content has been included, I feel that the most significant content is present.

All comments are of course welcome.

Download here.
