I love the big planes and I just thought today how cool it would be to use the b25 pit in a DC3. Paratroopers can be selected as a loadout and you could re-create the normandy invasion from a transport pilots perspective. Anybody know if you add a pit to a glider if it will tow it????? I know you can't fly a plane that is towing a glider (like an he111 towing a me321, etc.. it just disconnects on spawn).
Nice suggestion and it has been suggested before .
We will in the end get them all (I hope).
I'm looking forward to as you suggested the C-47, and the Ju-52, Ar-196, He-111-Z and so on.
I'd like to second the request for a pit for the DC-3, Great plane and it opens a whole world of scenarios.
PS: I've never had any problem flying an He-111 with a G-11 or an Me-321 in tow, Either starting on the runway or with an airstart. The only time they drop off is if your in range of their target or if you turn too abruptly.
C-47 is the same thing as the DC-3, Few Minor Differences
You are of course right about the Mossie have it's speed.
But who have said it can't be fun flying an unarmed C-47?!
If you have no escort planes, you are as good as dead, unless you fly full real and have some clouds to hide in.
In the end it's a matter of the game play.
I would any day try and fly in to drop para's and back again. If I succeed I'll be happy. The hide and seek is fun in it's self.
Back to game play. On the big servers you surely needs a good escort, if you don't have that it won't be much fun I agree.
Li-2 and C-47 will both be good and surely a joy to fly 8) .
