I'm not sure how good a job I've been doing, I have learned a lot but the results so far are rather lackluster. What I can see clearly is that I am not the only one who is interested in making progress in these areas.
FC you are right. I can easily see how many things in a majestic and complex program like Il-2 can be out of the league of, not just us who copy and experiment, but even experienced programmers. So, what I will do is stay around and help disseminate information on how to work on these areas.
Well now that im here, im saying the same. Im stoping work.
I never was a big impact here other then a screw up. Im banned from TS, and on jollys block list.
I have been banned plenty of times here, and im requesting that i get banned here again.
Its the only right full thing... and i agree. Adding aircraft was via java, i dont have the help i need,
i also got banned for acidently posting in the wrong topic without reading the rules.
"Jolly said i knew the rules, how would he know if i did or not.... of course i dident other wise i would not have posted."
I will not continue my work, unless there is a miracle.
So i am passing the torch my self...
Im afraid thats not going to happen. Some people can say they think i know alot, i really dont know any thing.... otherwise my wise ass wouldent be getting me banned.
Im passing the torch to jolly or someone else... my project is now yours.

Hello everyone,
From talking to MrJolly and the deletion of a thread requesting permission to post a tutorial it is clear that in this forum assisting anyone with java editing is viewed as a violation of "the ban" on posting information that could be used for cheating.
I wish to retract my past criticism of AAA that I made as it assumed that this forum had a different purpose (discussing editing instead of discussing existing mods or begging for new ones).
I would also like to thank MrJolly for allowing this thread to run its course.

I suspected that Hellzone's post in that forum may have been a legitimate mistake (The post that got him banned was made within a short time period of the rules being announced and it is, indeed plausible, that he missed them)
I would like to make a humble suggestion that a ban on discussing java programming be formally announced so that other don't make the mistake that Hellzone did (and that I almost did).
Anyway, It is true that there are circuitous ways in which the java could be used to make cheats (how had never occurred to me in my naivety until today). But, I personally don't see the logic behind making QTim's tools easily available and at the same time restricting basic discussion of programming techniques.
This is too deep for me.
