It would be a great help, if somebody could make a simple template for new maps with some default rivers, roads,maybe an airfield. I mean really simple and small and with istructions too
OOPS. If i ever get this small testmap working i could put it as an excample... Idea

Just for testing purposes.+ easy to email.
What would be the real dimensions, 10 times more perhaps. I think 1:1 is too big. It would take hours to open in FMB i guess

well until we found out everything regarding making maps ...and using tools , there won't be tutorial for it . we all still learning here ....

but you have CW Microdem tuto and vp_medias texture library and for airfields ... you can past from file ( FMB tools) any airfield you like ... you'll see Big Grin

my Croatia map_h.tga is 2880x2560 (8bit) and map_c.tga 1023x3200 ( un-disected 11520x10240).... and it loads just fine
