hm i find it as well strange in my case i dont have any look over off all maps and what land they cover and so on!

The BOB map includes barely any Germany, and certainly not any area in this map. The only overlap is England, which I don't mind because I want to takeoff and land.

Guys there is always room for more maps. We have 2 which we are going to do after we complete the Battle of Britain and 8th AF Across the Channel maps, we call them our Long Range Bomber Escort maps the Persecutor and Deacon. (The link is inoperative)
They are Full Scale maps, since our guys enjoy flying for hours at a time. :roll:

This map is focused on long range bomber escorts. Another map dealing with tactical operations of the US 9th AF and british 2nd TAF during the last 6 months of the war would be cool IMO...

Jesus, now THAT's something!

My idea was, allways, to focus on Luftwaffe Reich Defense missions and some tactical late war action So, i think, a huge map like this one would not be necessary. A guy flying a Fw190 doesn't need to wait for 6 hours until the B-17 formation arrives from their takeoff in England.

But, obviously, since both maps cover the same area, i think that we could cooperate in any way. What do you think SgtBooze?

LBR=Rademacher yes absolutely, cooperation is the ONLY way to go when making maps. But I would recommend building any map that you want to do. This is something that WE as a community need to continue to get good at. I don't think its bad if it covers the same area. If we continue to learn and keep sharing info everyone will benefit and the sim will continue to get better. The Battle of Britain, 8th AF Team will be glad to help in anyway we can, with whatever we can. We are all still learning also. Plus look at the area we are talking about, its huge and so much happened there that we need alot of people building to tell all the stories.

We have to remember that even though all these maps are being completed does not mean its over. As we keep learning these maps will be taken by everyone in the community and continue to be edited and upgraded after they are Officially released. So the more builders on board the better. :wink:
