No mate, thats the Aussies. They painted their's purple & pink. Occasionally P&P camo too, just to really get into it. Their high altitude recon birds were pink with purple poka-dots even.

But of course, the standard aussie tail flash didnt suit them, so they changed them to rainbows. The seats were customised with pink leather and white lace, and their parachutes, well... Just felt so nice against their skin...

You see, it was the ultimate form of defense. The japanese were so afronted by the unique gayness of the RAAF's advanced aircraft, they just left the poor beggers alone.

This was only a short term scheme however, because the the moral in the forward units sky-rocketed and eventually the airmen refused to even carry armament.

It's new Italeri model in 1:48. I've heard that it's just Dragon in different box. I recommend it to you. Very nice details, MK-108 chamber and good cockpit.
Other two planes are also 1:48 - Revell Bf-110G-2 and Fujimi Bf-109G-14/AS (made from K-4 kit, because inside is everything what we need to build any late 109)

Engine is resin, but I don't know manufacture, because I bought a kit from my friend and resin parts were just inside, without different box.
