Speaking about weapons loadout, A3 should have a bit less options than A4 cause it was used mainly as fighter.

There should be:
1) 2xMG17 + 2xMG151 + 2xMGFF (DEFAULT)
2) outer cannons removed
2) DEFAULT + droptank (ETC501)
4) U3: outer cannons removed + SC250 (ETC501)
5) U3: outer cannons removed + SC500 (ETC501)
5) U3: outer cannons removed + 4xSC50 (ETC501+ER4)

Maybe the A3/U3 could have its own slot as it should have had different compressor setting, suitable for low alt operations. AFAIK only three units used this version: 10.(J)/JG2, 10.(J)/JG26, 14.(J)/JG5.

Sorry if I sound difficult, but are the mods people seem to be asking for that difficult? Surely its just a FM tweak here and there, a new slot(s) with AAA blessing, some testing, happy to help there, and onward to the future!! Perhaps I am being simple, but having read so much now on this aircraft and variants, having offered to help with the realisation of the dream (and having the door slammed in my face!!) please, please, please, can we get some progress on this.
Like I said would love to help.

The russians totally porked the A-4 in their report.
They said that the Yakovlev-9 was better in the entire flight performance,which is false.

Well,all i can say is that the ingame A-4,have pretty close/even the same performance data just like in this propaganda report on this video on youtube.Maybe O.M set the performance of my beloved 190,counting on those russian wartime propaganda flight tests... :lol:
Let's not even talk the two very different types of flying an Yak-9,and a FW-190.
Of course the germans,when they tested a captured a/c,always told that their planes are better,which was actually true :lol: .
The same thing is for the russians.When they captured a german a/c,they told that their planes were better.
The normal sayings when two countrys are at war against each-other.

That russian test could have been the source of misinformation about Fw190 performances. Infact (IIRC) they were obliged to use a Ju-87 propeller cause the original one was broken. Second point is that they probably used soviet low-octane fuel in place of synthetic C3 fuel.
This was similar when soviet pilots complained about lend-lease Hurricane's low performance, not taking into account that Merlins were suited for the higher-octane british fuel.

The russian film about the 190 appeared some years ago in our forum. We had someone who could translate from russian into german. The russians wanted to calm down their pilots with this film. The 190 caused a lot of IL2 losses.

In this film I can not see any propaganda. The 190 is explained in all its details. Motor, weapons etc.

It looks like the old post with translation is deleted. But in our squad we also have a pilot ho can translate. I posted this film there and he will take a look at it

The russian 190 film is translated but there is no intresting data. Only information about weapons and flight performace which you can fid on lot of web sides.

I want to make the historical climb rate data this weeked. Perhaps I also can calculate weapon weight.


There are still 2 needs:

1) The mesh data of the radio antenna has to be reworked. The atenna of the A-3 looks different. I wrote pm to some experts but I did not get any answer until now.


2) The whole new performace data has to be put into a new FM. I do not know how to do this. Even for this problem I wrote some demands but there was no single answer.


An answer to my questions whould be very nice. Something like "yes", "no", "perhaps". It only takes a minute to answer.
