Avala I am afraid the problem lies within the drivers of nVidia (or ATI maybe if you have radeon).

I think that is an artefact from the anisotropy algoritm. I have same issue and I remember once it was a discussion on the perfection of anisotropig filtering algoritms from ATI and nVidia and ATI had the best one... cause they were cheating less :lol:

Very well, with little help with technicalities from friends Ranwers and Charlie Chap.
IL2 models and texture mapping is something very illogical. I also have found something that can make canopy persplex look like you are in real plane. Maybe not real but more realistic then now.

I can almost hear whiners right now: “We want our old crystal clear (and unrealistic) canopy baaack”
