I had the no cockpit problem also. This is how I fixed it. I went to freddys cockpit mod folder
found the heir.him file in the BF-109F2 folder it was 8KB. The BF-109F2B_Freddy Him file was 9KB.
I copied the heir file from Freddy,s BF-109F2 Cocpict folder and Renamed it to BF-109F2B
and put in the Cockpit folder for Jabo MOD and now the cockpit works fine.

I downloaded version 1.1 and it contaianed the fix for freddys cockpit and it did not work for me.
I checked the heir file in Freddys cockpit and it was a different size thane the one included for
use with the fix freddys cockpit.

I have installed the 1.1 version and ultimate version of Freddys MOD, and the Jabos MOD works perfectly fo me .

Another cause of problems with MODs like this, I have found that adding the lines, all.ini, weapons.ru etc. files, we must be very careful when you add these lines, respect the spaces between lines.

It is the only thing I can think about this problem

Thank you guys, for this mod! Both F-2B and F-4B work fine for me, but I now can't fly neither F-1 nor default F-2: I got this error:

"Loading aborted: Internal error: HierMeshObj: can't load HIM:
3DO/Plane/Bf-109F-2/hier.him"...

All other Messers work fine though... :oops:

Tried to uninstall/re-install Freddy's cockpits -- no luck...
Any suggestions?

3do/Plane is an aircraft's model problem. Check the folders. You could have Plane folder out of 3do folder, or a wrong name for the aircraft folders, for ex. Bf-109F2 instead of Bf-109F-2.

@ Mangas: if you are using Freddy's mod you need both his hier.him and BF-109F2B_freddy.him (this one must then be renamed BF-109F2B.him)

EDIT: for those still having problems, please try to follow this procedure:

1) Install Freddy's Mod (whatever version);

2) Install Jabo Mod (e.g. MODS\BF-109F_Jabo\etc.);

3) Delete the MODS\Bf-109F_Jabo\3do\Cockpit folder;

4) Make a copy of hier.him file from Freddy's mod and rename it BF-109F2B.him ;
DO NOT DELETE original Freddy's hier.him

5) Open BF-109F2B.him and find the text section named [Z_ArmorGlass1]

6) Delete Hidden word

[Z_ArmorGlass1]
Mesh Z_ArmorGlass1
Parent _ROOT_
Hidden -----------------------------> delete this one
Attaching 0 1 0 -1 0 0 0 0 1 -0.26209 0 0.74628

Save and close file

This should work.

This should work.

It couldn't work on mine and I followed the first 4 steps and I bypassed the last two.It worked.That
was a really great addition, great for the MTO and for the initial stages of the Eastern Front.

Hi _1SMV_Gitano,I did everything you told,I got the plane ,it takes the bomb,but I can't get in the cookpit and control it...
Maybe I should try gbollin's way...
and I like the MOD.
