After the Burma road was cut, the Allied started resupplying China by an aerial route over the Himalyas. In mid October 1943 the Japanese Sentai 50 started "Operation Tsuzigiri", targeting these transports. ("Tsuzigiri" is japanese for "Street murder", if I understand it correctly.)
I have made a semi-historical , 6-mission static campaign, set during October 1943. You are a pilot in Sentai 50, a JAAF Fighter squqdron equipped with the Ki-43 II. The missions are mainly fighters sweeps, but a couple of surprises has also been added to the mix.
The campaign uses Fabianfreds excellent Thailand/East Burma/Indochina map!
The map in question can be found on this site, in the map downloads section, and is also dedicated to him: thanks for your great work!
A historical detail: although Sentai 50 used an airstrip that is off-map in this operation, to the north, this map still fits the bill very well, using one of the airfields up north, close to the mountains.
